Brian Silva - Head Coach: Brian has been involved in all aspects of competitive swimming his entire life. As an Age Group swimmer, he was a multiple Pennsylvania State Champion and Middle Atlantic Region Champion. He was a high school All American on the nationally ranked Hill School Swim Team and went on to swim with James Madison University. He coached age group swimming at the YMCA in Wisconsin for several years and then retired to get married and raise a family. With the return of two Silva’s to competitive swimming, he became a NGSL stroke official and served on the NGSL board. Brian is returning for his 11th year as the Stingrays Head Coach. Debbie Silva - Asst. Head Coach: Debbie is a certified Red Cross Water Safety Instructor for the past 32 years. In 2003 she was award the Gwinnett County Swim Instructor of the year and was assistant coach for the Dacula High School Swim Team from 2003-2005. In 2007 she helped start up the Hebron Middle School and High School swim teams. She has been the assistant coach for those two teams for the past three years. Debbie has literally taught thousands of children and adults to swim through her group and private lessons. She will head up the all-important 6 and under age group, the “spawning ground” for future Stingray standouts. She also provides developmental work for the older swimmers as well. She is also returning for her 11th season with the Stingrays.
